We’re making the most succulent and tender BBQ “country-style” pork ribs. Using a homemade spice rub, as well as our homemade barbecue sauce, we’re baking these ribs in the oven to to end up with some beautiful meat that’s absolutely falling off the bone!

Smoked ribs and grilled ribs are delicious, but if it’s cold outside or you just want something that’s super easy to throw together, try out these oven-baked country ribs.

Ingredients

  • 4 Country-Style Pork Ribs

  • Spice Rub
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons paprika

  • 1/2 tablespoon salt

  • 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions

  • Thoroughly mix all spice rub ingredients together.
  • Pat ribs dry with paper towel, and then thoroughly coat all sides of each rib with the spice rub.
  • Place ribs in a large baking dish or high-walled cookie sheet. Wrap and seal tightly with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the oven for 3 hours at 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove from oven and carefully drain liquid from baking dish.
  • Generously brush all sides of the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  • Place back into the oven and set to “broil”. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and brush a little more BBQ sauced to the ribs.
  • Allow the ribs to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
